Open Repositories 2013 #OR2013 — Charlottetown, P.E.I., Canada
I just came back home from the «Open Repositories 2013» conference, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada; a conference on Open Access publishing, digital repositories, preservation strategies… It was quite an interesting conference, and gave me the opportunity to meet several interesting people. Mostly worthy of note, I spent some good time with the team behind the EPrints software, which powers my institute’s repository, and with whom I expect to do some work trying to get EPrints more in shape to be considered as uploadable to Debian.
